Why Las Playetas
A love story that found its home on the Costa del Azahar.
Just north of Benicàssim, along the Mediterranean coast, lies Las Playetas — a peaceful residential community nestled between the sea and the hills, surrounded by pine trees and Mediterranean gardens.
Las Playetas has always been a special place for Alba. Her grandmother had a summer home here, where Alba spent many of her childhood summers, and her mother still lives here today. With so many of Alba's family memories rooted in this little corner of the coast, it felt like the perfect place to bring our own story into it. We chose the chapel in Las Playetas for our ceremony, making it the place where we will begin this next chapter together.
Our wedding venue, Mas del Pi, is around 20 minutes from Benicàssim. We recommend staying in Benicàssim, with its beaches, charming town centre, and cosy bars and restaurants — a lovely base for the wedding weekend.
